ABSTRACT
Our next example not only illustrates causes and processes that lead to iatrogenic damage, but also demonstrates why a prominent lawyer who has dealt with scores of such instances told us flatly that no case of this type can ever be won. It illustrates the characteristic Kafkaesque atmosphere of absurdity and blocked exits that is a major feature of institution-sanctioned malfunctioning by damaging caregivers.
