ABSTRACT
An invariable pronoun, always masculine and singular, which refers to an indeterminate person in the way ‘somebody’ or ‘someone’ (or ‘anybody’ or ‘anyone’ in questions) would in English.
alguno, -a, -os, -as Mira estos libros y dime si hay alguno que te interese. (Have a look at these books and tell me if there is any that interests you.) Algún día lo comprenderás. (You’ll understand it one day.)
He visto alguna de sus películas. (I’ve seen some of his films.)
