ABSTRACT
This conclusion presents some closing thoughts on the concepts discussed in the preceding chapters of this book. The book draws some readings, that is the creation and interpretation of texts are a function of the individual memory. Memory processes texts in quanta of energy, dynamic pattern by dynamic pattern. The book discusses the consequences that the existence of dynamic patterns imposes on reading. Awareness of the existence of dynamic patterns should help us read: awareness of the manner in which these patterns determine the tonality of the metaphoric field of a novel, a drama or a poem, the way in which they control expectations and the direction of the textual unfolding, and the way they build up to a total effect. Moreover, one has to be aware that the integration of dynamic patterns into a metaphoric field demonstrates intent, purpose, and design to define or redefine insights into the structure of the real.
