AAC Abbreviation forAutoclaved Aerated Concrete, a type of CELLULARCONCRETE , with a density around 6 50kg/m3 and a thermal conductivity of some 0.08 W/ m.K; usually available in the form of blocks or planks, possibly reinforced. often laid with a thin adhesive bed in place of mortar. Can be cut with a saw; can be used for load-bearing walls (up to two storeys) and the planks also for floors and roofs.
