ABSTRACT
A perspective contains, in addition to the cognitive elements we have just discussed, a set of actions. The group's members consider the actions appropriate and expedient—appropriate in that they are thought likely to achieve the goal and expedient in being adapted to the situation in which the goal must be sought.
