ABSTRACT
This journey started a long time ago in 1961. I was seventeen years old and it was then that I first met Louis I. Kahn. It was in Philadelphia and I was, without knowing it, an apprenticed architect. I was apprenticed to my father, an architect, and I was in my first summer job at his architectural firm.
