ABSTRACT
Bosnia, to a prosperous Muslim family. Up until 1868, his family resided in Belgrade. During that year most of the Muslim residents left for Boasnaski Samać, as did his family. His grandfather served as the city’s mayor. As mayor, the grandfather saved the lives of forty Serbs in his city in 1914, after Gavrilo Princip assassinated Crown Prince Franz Ferdinand in Sarajevo.
