ABSTRACT
It would be an error to restrict Dinos Christianopoulos (b. 1931) to the ranks of “Greek homosexual poets.” He is a major contemporary poet tout court. Although selections of his sensitive and transparent poems have appeared in several European languages, strangely enough I have found relatively few traces of his prose and poetry in English, and none whatsoever in readily accessible editions.
