ABSTRACT
Little is known about the astronomy-medicine connection before recorded history but some clues can be pieced together to help light this dark, primitive period. 1 Haggard has suggested the presence of “medicine men” among the Cro-Magnon tribes that lived 25,000 years ago. This idea is based on cave paintings from southwest France.
