Stress and the recitation of clock time

When reciting clock time, the stress is on diFn o’clock, 分 minute, or zhDng (o’)clock, whichever is the last word in the time phrase.

Xiànzài sAn diFn。 It’s now 3 o’clock.

Xiànzài sAn diFn wJ 分。 It’s now 3:05.
