ABSTRACT
Kant’s misguided dichotomy between empirical and logically necessary truth, in terms of which metaphysics was not known to be true, resulted in both radical and moderate conceptions of behavioral agencies. However, the agencies conceived moderately in open societies have been dangerously weakened because they were undercut epistemologically. This underscores that the ‘practical’ needs a basis in theoretical scholarship. The latter was, and still is, politicized by the political Left and Right.
