ABSTRACT

Much of the article consists o f a denunciation of Freud and, to a lesser extent, also of Adler-in a journal in wh ich they could not reply. Halfway through the article, Jung pointed out that their faults were due to their being Jews. They see our weak spots: "The Jews have this peculiarity i n common w i t h women; being physically weaker [than whom?], they have to aim at the chinks in the armor of their adversary . . ." (10, 353). This image brings to m i n d Jung's dream in w h i c h Freud wore armor and Jung looked for an opening. And now, after all these years, Jung has found the chink in Freud's armor and attacks h im fearlessly in a German journal , in 1934, as a Jew.
