ABSTRACT

Since previous research suggests that cultural progressives have a high degree of distain for conservative Christians, they are the best candidates for scoring high on the CDS. This chapter first goes through the process the author underwent as he constructed his second survey so that the reader will know what the author expected to find and the significance of what he actually found. The chapter discusses the implications of those findings and the new information we will have on the relationship of RWA and Christian dehumanization. The results of this chapter are based on the author's second survey, which answers various questions. The chapter also talks about the eight-item religious fundamentalists index to the forty statements he had previously put together measuring both RWA and CDS. The author demonstrates that individuals with high levels of RWA consistently provide longer sentences than other individuals.
