ABSTRACT

Feedback seeking behaviours which can increase newcomers' knowledge of the factors that will help them to meet their goals and regulate their behaviours. Proactive personality identifies differences among people in the extent to which they are relatively unconstrained by situational forces. People with high proactive personality tend to be pathfinders who are able to spot opportunities, show initiative, make a start, and persevere until a significant change takes place in their organization. To examine the relationships between the hypothesized independent variables and feedback seeking behaviours, it tested four regression models. First model reports the results for the control variables. Second model adds proactive personality to test first Hypothesis. Third model adds the two-way interaction between proactive personality and perceived overall fairness as well as positive feedback from supervisors. Fourth model reports all main variables and the related two-way interaction terms, as well as the hypothesized three-way interaction term.
