articulate the main features of professional sport, and discuss its global arrangements

explain the financial arrangements that underpin professional sport around the world, and identify the shifts that have occurred in the relative strengths of different revenue streams

explain why, in spite of the massive growth in revenues, many sport enterprises have been unable to achieve any sense of financial sustainability

reflect on the pressure impacting on big-time sport, and the problems that can arise from imprudent financial management.
