ABSTRACT

This conclusion presents some closing thoughts on concepts discussed in this book. The book called as the 'education of radical democracy' for two reasons: first, because radical democracy is a fundamentally educative mode of politics which involves constant learning of a particular sort; and second, because there are many theoretical and practical lessons within the traditions of radical democracy on how to challenge the foreclosures of possibility produced by hegemonic and dominating social systems. But the most fundamental lessons that are required for humanization today, are reminded by those with long experiences of counter-hegemonic and radically democratic struggle in other places and times, cannot be learned through study alone. The author have illustrated in this book that there are many more democratic activists in extreme neoliberal societies than meets the eye and each part of our everyday lives, has not-yet imaginable possibilities in potentia and in motion. Frontier politics, which is the politics of possibility, is an inherently educative praxis.
