• weather conditions in the immediate area of the ship in distress;
• details of casualties and state of injuries; • navigational hazards, e.g. icebergs etc.; • numbers of crew and passengers; • details of survival craft aboard and of craft launched; • emergency location aids available at the scene of distress and
aboard survival craft.
