ABSTRACT
I began my research on right-hemisphere pragmatic disorders with Jean-Luc Nespoulous as a PhD student. I had first come to know him when he gave a fascinating lecture on agrammatism. Since then, Jean-Luc has never ceased to inspire and motivate my research. The issue of cross-patient variability and the interdisciplinary scientific approach—dear to Jean-Luc—continue to influence my work today.
