ABSTRACT
Though eavesdropping today on a meeting of administrators or faculty at most existing universities you might not discern it, whether they know it yet or not, today’s education institutions are in the midst of their own conceptual emergency. The knowledge society no longer belongs to the universities but has burst out into virtual Cloud computing spaces that link services, providers and students in multiple ways through the internet.
