ABSTRACT
This study’s primary data source is medical and pharmacy claims from the 1997 and 1998 MarketScan Commercial Claims and Encounters (CCE) database. This database contains the healthcare experience and insurance plan enrollment information of several million privately insured individuals who work for one of several large US Fortune 500 companies.
