ABSTRACT
Charlotte O ’Brien was a poet as well as a horticulturist and plant collector. She created a well-known garden at Foynes and collected plants in counties Clare and Limerick. She contributed articles to Irish Gardening. Her plants are at the National Botanical Gardens, Glasnevin, and in the Limerick Museum. j h / m b o
