ABSTRACT
The frame of reference for Native women and the arts is greater than the means we have to conceive of their presence. The concepts currently available to us are inadequate—the literature on the topic minimal. 1 How then to describe an intersection between the dynamism of Indigenous women’s artistic practice and the rich legacy of feminist art? What strategies do we utilize to convey our mutual interests, our aspirations, and our struggles?
