Dynamic-Theme Experiences: Cyclical Changes

This verbal youngster dramatically shows us that he has some sense of time about a subject that we typically do not expect to be part of early childhood classroom study. Other 4-year-olds build a similar sense of ancestry when they learn about their parents’ connections to grandparents. In a parallel way, their life experiences of waking and sleeping and the sequence of events in your classroom add to their sense of time and cyclical change.
