ABSTRACT
A brief overview of supervision is provided in Chapter 1 of this book including defining supervision, identifying types of internship supervisors, and introducing developmental models of supervision. In addition, consistent with the dynamic and integrated nature of the school psychology internship, various considerations regarding supervision are interwoven throughout the text. However, processes of supervision are explored in significantly greater depth in this chapter than in other chapters of this book.
