ABSTRACT
Despite all the changes, financial performance of the HMV Group was poor throughout the period. At the initial IPO, the share price was 192p, reaching an all-time high of 282p in February 2005. By 10 September 2010 it was 60p. Total shareholder return over the period 1 January 2007 to 10 September 2010 was an annualized rate of –17 per cent (HMV Group, 2010).
