ABSTRACT
Reading transposing instruments at the keyboard can be a challenge, especially when you must play them simultaneously with a concert-pitched instrument, or instruments transposing to different keys. Unlike the alto clef, a transposing instrument uses standard clefs, but requires transposition by some interval other than an octave or unison.
