ABSTRACT
In the preceding chapters, we have focused on evaluating the reliability of individual structural components. However, most structural systems consist of many interconnected structural components. Therefore, it is important to distinguish between the reliability of each component and the reliability of the entire system. This chapter provides an introduction to the topic of system reliability.
