ABSTRACT
This project combines learning about the traditional Day of the Dead festivals in countries such as Mexico and Spain with taking part in some of the customary cultural activities associated with the event. It can be structured as a basic model to help promote Spanish to new learners or can be made more complex, depending on the targeted learners. It is also suitable for both small and large groups and was first developed in 2008 by the University of Brighton as a Routes South project.
