ABSTRACT
The use of computers has implied substantial changes for both writers and writing researchers with regard to revision processes. The revising opportunities offered by computers give room for a more flexible organization of the writing process, allowing writers to work recursively and to explore their topic through reconsidering what has been written. Moreover, researchers can use computers as observation and analysis tools, which has implied improved opportunities to study revision as a process.
