ABSTRACT
As I’ve been complaining in these pages for 20 years, the Global Village exists, but it’s called Los Angeles. To be specific, it’s a suburb of that city named Hollywood which, having hijacked cinema, has kidnapped global consciousness and turned it into an industry.
