ABSTRACT

General equilibrium (GE) models and techniques can be defined in opposition to partial equilibrium ones. In the latter, attention concentrates on a given sector of the economy, that is described in detail. The main agents and their different relations are identified, and a fairly complete picture of the activity is made. At least, demand and supply structures, many times for different – related, substitute or complementary – product items are carefully described.
