Using ICT in teaching and learning

The terms IT (information technology) and ICT (information and communication technology) are often used interchangeably, although the latter term is little known outside of education. Sometimes the term is pluralised, ‘information and communication technologies’, as there are now a number of different tools, devices, functions and possibilities that ICT covers – a range that continues to grow and diversify.
