ABSTRACT
INTRODUCTION This is perhaps the most developed area of mobility within the Community, apart from the free movement of goods. Very often, there are problem questions associated with the rights of workers and their dependants to move around the Community in order to search for work or take up offers of employment. The starting point on this topic should be Art 45, the directives and regulations adopted to provide the detail for this Community freedom and the judgments of the ECJ which have developed the principles of interpretation and application of Community law.
