ABSTRACT
Czech law is based on the principle of individual criminal liability and does not recognise collective criminal liability. In the case of legal persons, it is always a natural person acting on behalf of the legal person who will be held accountable for criminal offences. However, legal persons bear civil and administrative liability and may be sanctioned accordingly.
