ABSTRACT
The teams of researchers in the schools and services developed some interesting and effective strategies for encouraging partnership and learning between teachers and assistants. In many cases they had not specifically focused on this area from the beginning, but they had been led into it from other points in their initiatives. The examples described in this chapter are linked to the discussion of more conceptual issues presented in Chapter 4.
