ABSTRACT
Now that you are studying for a degree you will be expected to find out a lot of information for yourself. Looking at what your educational institution can provide to help you is a really important step. Additionally, finding, recording and retrieving the mass of information available is a fundamental part of studying for any higher-level qualification. This chapter aims to identify ways to help you do this; by looking at the sources of information you should have access to, ways of recording what you have found and offering some useful hints to make things as manageable as possible.
