SHOULDN’T DRAMATIC MATERIAL BE CENSORED? Censorship is particularly an issue in schools and youth centres. Staff are sometimes worried that young people will use the opportunity of a drama workshop to break taboos maintained at other times, and this will make it difficult later to ‘turn off the tap.’ The facilitator may even be approached beforehand and asked for some kind of assurance that they will prohibit bad language.
