The last example shows how to express ‘since’ in Turkish: you add the ablative case suffix (the one that indicates ‘direction away from’) to the name of the year, and then add the word beri. In the Glossary, you will see this as: beri (-den) ‘since’. The second example shows how to express ‘for X years’: you simply say X sene. Note that the noun following a number is not in the plural form.
