SECTION VI THE VIENNESE WALTZ The Viennese Waltz is one of the most attractive of the ballroom dances and has been a popular dance on the Continent for many years.
The Viennese Waltz must be used in all ballroom championships. Only seven figures are accepted: the Reverse and Natural Turns, the Forward and Backward Changes, the Reverse and Natural Fleckerls and the Check from Reverse to Natural Fleckerl. The description of these figures is given in chart form.
