ABSTRACT

In Chapter Two, we devoted some time to helping you understand how undergraduate programs and curricula in women’s and gender studies are typically organized-as interdisciplinary fields of study. You learned about the aims and goals of women’s and gender studies, both inside and outside the classroom. In Chapter Three, we discussed the many ways in which you can communicate with others about your experiences in women’s and gender studies, and provided you with techniques to enhance your own understandings of concepts you have learned in your undergraduate program. Now we want to explore how you translate all of the great training you have had into skills and strengths for the postgraduate and working worlds.
