We can now illustrate our arguments about ideological and social change in the communities we have studied.
Changes in social practice If we compare Hutterite colonies and Kibbutzim as they originally were and as they exist today, we can see great differences. Yet as far as contemporary members are concerned they are acting within the same ideological framework as their predecessors, i.e. in essence they are the same group as before.
