Whole-class activity: revise and redraft the poem. – Using the writing frame provided at the end of this workshop and acting as scribe,
substitute more vigorous verbs for went and a variety of adverbs for quickly. The words do not have to rhyme, but they can if you wish. You could write the main body of the poem in couplets.
