ABSTRACT

Connecting Spaces can be used in couples or family therapy contexts as both an assessment and intervention. This activity is effective in assessing relational and affective processes within various constellations of significant others: adult partners, parent-child, and siblings. During the creative, metaphorical activity, the therapist is able to observe various structural and affective processes of the relationship.
