ABSTRACT
As a starting point to investigate the issue of workplace learning, this chapter will briefly present the definition and main features of learning which I have developed over a period of almost 40 years and finally unfolded in the book How We Learn (Illeris 2007) and in various shorter versions (e.g. Illeris 2006a, 2009c).
