Low- carbon China: the role of international collaboration

Introduction Climate change from global warming is amongst the gravest challenges confronting the world. As a huge country undergoing unprecedented economic growth, China’s contribution is crucial to global efforts to tackle climate change. A major part of this contribution will be developments in ‘low-carbon innovation’, which reduces the greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions of socio-economic activity.
