ABSTRACT
Driven to marry again and again by mental disorder Emily Horne, a four time bigamist, who had been married fi ve times and was now living with a sixth potential husband, pleaded guilty to bigamy. Judge Khokhar said that he had intended to jail Horne but decided to suspend the sentence because a psychiatric report said she was responding well to treatment for bipolar and personality disorders. Horne observed ‘the thing I’m guilty of most is falling in love.’
