ABSTRACT
Homo sapiens is unique among living species. As the human brain has evolved, three areas within it in particular have developed to a greater extent than in any other primate (Bronowski 1973):
the area which controls the hand (giving greater dexterity)• the area which controls speech and language• the frontal lobes which, amongst other things• , allow us to imagine future events.
