ABSTRACT

Ever since he was a child, John Juzbasich possessed an entrepreneurial spirit and the desire to help others. From paper routes to lemonade stands to designing computer games, he had a knack for enterprising ideas. Later in life, after leaving a long and successful technology career at IBM, Juzbasich joined Jim Wynn to form Merit Systems LLC, a Wayne, Pennsylvania, training solutions company. As Merit Systems grew into a respected and pro†table business, Juzbasich thirsted for leadership knowledge and experiences to supplement his success as an entrepreneur. So he assumed responsibilities as scoutmaster, church committee chairperson, township government o¡cial, and board director in his local community. He also enrolled in and graduated from Penn State University’s Master of Leadership Development (MLD) graduate degree program. ‹is Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB)-accredited specialized master’s business degree program is built upon a foundation of research and practice supporting the Full Range Leadership Development model.
