ABSTRACT

I have been involved in a number of projects which brought me into contact with businessmen, lawyers, physicians (mostly psychoanalysts and psychiatrists), diplomats, artists, architects, engineers, designers and laborers. All have been concerned with the solution of real-life problems. These experiences, particularly those having to do with teaching and educating, convinced me that people, even within the confi nes of a single culture, learn in many different ways.1
