ABSTRACT

Life Coaching is a practice designed to help clients to identify and achieve their personal objectives. It is generally a present-centred and future-focused method where coach and client work together in a collaborative way in the pursuit of the client’s goals. While life coaches distinguish themselves from therapists (particularly those who help clients deal with conflicts rooted in the past), there are times in life coaching where the client gets stuck because she (in this case) experiences an emotional problem that is not easily resolved by the coach’s standard interventions.
